It Happened Again!?

It Happened Again in Allendale Michigan, as it was in the 10K at the NCAA Division II Championships, the 5K top-3 were all from Colorado Universities.  However, this time the order was reversed.  Afewerki Zeru from CU Colorado Spring (Rampart HS) took first in 13:52.72, and Awet Beraki of Adams State (Palmer HS) was stuck in the middle again in 13:54.56.  Dillion Powell of Colorado Mines (Air Academy HS) was third this time in 13:55.03.

The top-10 in the D2 5K was peppered with Colorado Ties. Dylan Ko from Colorado Mines (Fossil Ridge HS) was seventh in 14:04.73, Cole Nash running for Alaska Anchorage was eighth in 14:05.62 and formally from Chatfield HS, and Steven Goldy Colorado Mines (Arapahoe HS) tenth in 14:10.48.

The next blog I hope to have the scorers of the Division II and III from the National Meets, with ties to Colorado.   Also, will list Division I West and East Preliminary qualifiers with ties also to Colorado for the Nationals in D1.
