1-2-3 10k Finish

In Allendale Michigan at the NCAA Division II Track Championships, Colorado Universities went 1-2-3 in the 10000 meters.  After a rain delay Dillion Powell of Colorado Mines (Air Academy HS) took first in 28:44.97.  Awet Beraki of Adams State (Palmer HS) was second in 28:54.61, and Afeiwerki Zeru of CU Colorado Springs (Rampart HS) was third in 29:02.83.  As you can see all were formerly from Colorado High Schools!!

Also finishing in the top-10 was Kyle Moran from Colorado Mines (Cherry Creek HS) in sixth with a time of 29:13.15.  Moran’s teammate Duncan Fuehne was seventh in 29:29.82.

Notice something about the 1-2-3 finish was all the gold, silver and bronze winners were formerly from a Colorado Springs High School.
