NCAA Division I 1st Day Report

In the first day of the NCAA Division I Championships in Eugene Oregon, here are the results related to Colorado Universities and former Colorado High School track athletes.  Just men competed in the first day.

Jacob Brueckman CSU 1500 meters h2 9th 3:40.82

Jackson Morris CSU Javelin 14th 223-2

Colorado University 4×4 Relay 19th 3:06.12

Bryce Lentz AFA Steeple h2 10th 8:52.33

Yasin Sado Virigina Univ./Gateway HS Steeple h2 6th 8:41.63

Max Manson Stanford Univ./Monarch HS Pole Vault 21st 16-10 3/4

Cole Sprout Stanford Univ./Valor Christian HS 10000 meters 4th 28:14.89

Christian Lyon Liberty Univ./Ft. Carson HS 4×1 Relay h1 4th 39.08

Also competing at the Championships are athletes that are in the Colorado Track Stats Soil List.

Turner Washington Arizona State Univ. Shot Put 2nd 69-0 3/4

Zach Mcwhorter BYU Pole Vault 6th 18-4 1/2

Isaac Grimes Florida State Univ. Long Jump 3rd 26-1 3/4

Micah Williams Oregon Univ. 100 meters h1 1st 10.03 -0.6w advanced to the finals on Friday. 4×1 Relay h3 4th 39.00

Xavier Nairne Oregon Univ. 4×1 Relay h3 4th 39.00

Brendon Stewart Southern California Univ. 100 meters h3 6th 10.33 -0.1w

Also, Jon Maas formerly from Colorado Univ. now running for Texas Univ. ran the first leg in the 4×4 Relay that advanced to Friday’s Final with a 3:00.31, the fastest time in the semi’s.
