Former Colorado HS’ers Win U23 5000 Meters

In San Jose, Costa Rica July 24th, Cole Sprout (Valor Christian HS) running for the USA U23 Team won the 5000 meters in a meet record 14:11.78, for the Gold Medal.  Layla Roebke (Niwot HS) won the women’s 5000 meters in 17:24.61.  The heat was a factor for the slower times.
