Fast indoor 5K’s

This last Weekend at the BU Sharon Colyear Danville Opener in Boston, MA 12/4/21, Colorado Track Stats stars tore up the 5000 meters.  Men’s winner and the fastest Colorado Soil miler ever, Oliver Hoare of the On Athletic Club ran 13:09.96!!  Back in 7th was Air Force Academy’s Sam Gilman with a time of 13:25.17.  Gilman’s time moved him into #5 on the All-Time Colorado College list just ahead of Hoare’s coach and US Olympian and former CU Buff Dathan Ritzenhein.

Stay tuned for some more track meet results this weekend at the Pre-Holiday UCCS meet in Colorado Springs, and the Western Colorado Open in Gunnison.  Many division I Colorado Collegiate athletes are also heading to the Power Meet in Laramie, WY.  Let us see if some more Colorado Track Stats marks are made or improved on.
