Never to Late

It is never to late to become a champion track and field athlete.  Terry Ten Eyck is just the example of this.  A former Wheat Ridge track athlete, after nearly a 50 year lay off,  is now a Masters Champion.  In 1963 at the Colorado State Track Meet he shattered the Colorado 3A shot put State Meet Record with a 59-10 3/4!!  That was over a four foot improvement of the 3A State Meet Record!!  Now at the young age of 76 he wins or is nearly never worse than third in the Masters Division!!  He is competing in not just the shot put, but in the discus throw, hammer throw and the weight throw, WOW!!  He was the USATF National Masters Weight Throw Champion in Ames, Iowa in July of this year in the 75-79 age group.  At the same meet he was 2nd in the shot put. 2nd in the hammer throw and 3rd in the discus throw.  He competes all over the US and winning!!  Let all of us tip our hats to this great track star.

Enjoy and GODBless
