CTS Athletes in New York

CTS Athletes were in New York City Saturday and Sunday and ran pretty darn Good!  On Saturday the 5th the USATF 5K Road Championships were held, the day before the New York City Marathon. Super-fast 5K race and here is a list of the CTS Athletes.

Men’s 5K: Hillary Bor 2nd 13:29, Kirubel Erassa 3rd 13:37.

Women’s 5K: Eleanor Fulton (formally from Highland Ranch HS) 7th 15:39, Natosha Rogers (formally from Dakota Ridge HS) 10th 15:45, Jenny Simpson 17th 16:07, Maddie Alm (formally from Monarch HS) 23rd 16:22, Katie Follett (formally from Fort Collins HS) 29th 17:06.

Men’s Marathon: Scott Fauble (formally from Wheat Ridge HS) 9th and 1st American 2:13:35, Jeff Thies 20th and 9th American 2:25:45, Shadrack Kipchirchir 24th 2:28:15, Former Olympian Jared Ward who trains in Boulder was 11th and 3rd American 2:17:09.

Women’s Marathon: Nell Rojas (formally from Boulder HS) 10th and 3rd American 2:28:32. Rojas was the 1st American in the 2022 Boston Marathon in 2:25:57.

Temperatures for the marathon were a-little on the high side, so times were slower than normal.
