Trinidad State College performs at Nationals

At the NJCAA Division I Outdoor T&F Championships in Monroe, LA., May 16-18, represented their college and our state well.  Here are the top results for the school.

Alliyah Molina in the 10000 meters ran in the silver metal position (35:54.17).  However, she was the 5000-meter gold metal champion (17:14.87). She also is an Alamosa HS Graduate.  Megan Garrett was the gold metal champion in the steeple (10:51.45) and also added a point for the team in the 5000-meter run (18:17.14 8th).  The team scored 29 points for 9th place for the Women.

Hanibal Haile and Vincent Kipchirchir both ran for 6th place in their respected events.  Haile 5000-meters (14:34.73) and Kipchirchir in the steeple (9:09.59).  They scored 6 points for 23rd place for the Men.
