New Top 10 CTS Marks
Just a quick note of CTS Top 10 marks from the last two weeks.
In the After Colorado HS list, Hayley Rayburn (Platte Canyon HS) competing for Colorado Mines soared 14-5 1/4 for the #1 mark. This comes after Anna Willis (The Classical Academy HS) took the #1 mark from her sister Andrea Willis (The Classical Academy HS) just the weekend before. Anna vaulting for the University of South Dakota took her 14-4 3/4 mark to her sister’s mark of 14-4 from 2019. Alex Hellenberg (Skyline HS) competing unattached notched down the #10 mark in the AF HS pole vault with a mark of 13-6 1/2. The women’s pole vault after HS is heating up this year, so stay tuned and take a look at the top 25 in the category. Taryn Burkett (Ft. Collins HS) Competing for Grand Canyon U. increased on her #4 position in the triple jump by a quarter inch to 42-8 1/4. For the men, Karamoko Sacko (Northfield HS) knocked down a 7.71 in the 60-meter hurdles to the #2 AF HS list, competing for the University of Arkansas. He will have a big order of things to get to #1 as David Oliver (Denver East HS) has a 7.37 from 2011, which is still #7 on the World List! Scottie Vine (Debeque HS) like Sacko, competes for the University of Arkansas and got his college career started at 7-3 in the high jump which is #6 on the AF HS list. He has a 7-4 1/2 HS PR. Also, like Sacko, Vine will have a big task to get to #1 as Matt Hemingway (Buena Vista HS) has this spot at 7-9 3/4 in 2000, which is #3 on the all-time US List! In the AF HS mile list, the top 10 changed by a lot! Yasin Sado (Denver West/Gateway HS) which he was already in the top 10 improved to a fast 3:55.24 for #3 on AF HS list competing unattached. In the same race as Sado was Harrison Witt (Mountain Vista HS) and Connor McCormick (Longmont HS) both competing for Princton University. Witt comes in at #5 with a 3:56.12 and McCormick at #6 with a 3:56.47. If the 2025 season was to start today, Davis Helmerich (Mountain Vista HS) would be at #10 on the AF HS list at 3:58.07. For the moment he will have to settle for #12. Helmerich is at the University of Arkansas. In the Men’s AF HS mile list, now has 20 sub-4-minute times. Sado has been a busy runner indoor this year as in the last weekend ran a 7:43.55 3000 meters which is #5 on the AF HS list.
In the Colorado College/University List, we had a big #1 mark made in the 5000 meters. Romain Legendre from Adams State University broke his Division II indoor record with a fast 13:02.08!! Isaiah Givens of Colorado University comes in at #5 in the 3000 meters with a 7:45.01. Teammate Christopher Cherry in a different heat at the same meet puts down a 7:48.03 for #8 on the list. In the field events on the CCU list, Texas Tanner of the Air Force Academy in the shot put launched a 63-7 for #7 on the list. In women’s pole vault, Maria Kimpson of Colorado State University soared 13-9 1/4 to achieved #4 by herself as she was tied with three others at 13-6 1/2.
In an event Colorado Track Stats does not have a top 25 in (Weight Throw), however needs to show a couple of big marks from the 2025 indoor season are, Daniel Reynolds (Middle Park HS) now competing for Wyoming U. is sitting #2 in the D1 standings in the weight throw at this point of the season at 79-9 1/4! Reynolds is #2 in the AF HS hammer throw (226-11). Giavonna Meeks (Northfield HS) now competing for the University of California is sitting #1 in the 2025 collegiate ranks with a throw of 77-3 1/4!! She is #6 in the AF HS hammer throw (216-10).
In the last weekend a Colorado Grad, Elise Cranny (Niwot HS) needs a hat tip, as she ran a 4:20.83-mile time which is the fastest in the world so far in the 2025 indoor season, then just two days later ran an 8:29.87 3000 meters which is #2 in the world this 2025 season so far. WOW!! She has a 4:16.47-mile PR and an 8:25.10 3000 PR!
