CTS Athletes vs each other at NCAA I Championships

Here is something kind of fun to check out at the NCAA I Championships in Eugene, OR June 11-14.  There are some CTS athletes that are competing against each other, which are former Colorado High School athletes. Here are the ones CTS knows of: Harrison Witt vs Davis Helmerich in the 1500 meters.  They were former teammates at Mountain Vista HS.  Witt now at Princeton U., and Helmerich at Arkansas U.  In the female Hammer Throw a good matchup with Kajsa Borrman, Loveland HS/Colorado State U. vs Giavonna Meeks, Northfield HS/California U.  In the men’s 10000 meters Cole Sprout, Valor Christian HS/Stanford U. vs Dylan Schubert, Thompson Valley HS/Furman U.  Scottie Vines, Debeque HS/Arkansas U. vs Eddie Kurjak, Longmont HS/Georgia U. in the men’s High Jump.  In the women’s Pole Vault Lilly Nichols, Broomfield HS/Appalachian State vs Anna Willis, The Classical Academy HS/South Dakota U.  Will Daley, Denver East HS/Virginia U. vs Jacob White, Dakota Ridge HS/Wyoming U. in the 5000 meters.

Also, Daniel Reynolds formally of Middle Park HS now competing for Wyoming U. will try to get the best of Texas Tanner of the Air Force Academy in the Hammer Throw, it would be the first time if Reynolds can beat Tanner in this event.

CTS is a little prejudice and hopes all these match ups go 1 & 2, but really CTS hope everyone does their best and all go injury free.
