Hillary Bor

CTS Athletes on the Road

In Manchester CT. CTS athletes were on the road in the 86th annual 4.748-mile road race on Thanksgiving.  Connor Mantz won the race in 21:04 and not far behind were Hillary Bor in 5th (21:15) and Kirubel Erassa in 6th (21:17).

Erassa holds the 5th fastest mile on Colorado Soil when he won the St. Vrain Invite in 2019 in 4:01.58.  Bor holds the fastest 2-mile on Colorado Soil when he captured the Frank Shorter Elite Invite in 2020 (8:35.83).  An interesting stat on Bor, more known for his steeple success was in 2008 when running for Iowa State U. lost a steeple race to now CU assistant coach and former Olympian Billy Nelson, 8:53.84 to 9:01.84.  Nelson’s steeple time is the fastest on Colorado Soil!

Stay tuned for the upcoming Track and Field season.

Enjoy and GOD Bless
