CTS Athletes on the Road

Many Colorado Track Stats Athletes have been on the Road Race circuit since the track season has ended, with many elite finishes.  The USATF 5K Road Championships in New York, NY on November 2nd had Brian Barraza 3rd in 13:42, Kirubel Erassa 4th 13:44, Hillary Bor 5th 13:45, Afewerki Zeru (former Rampart HS) 8th 13:52, Joe Waskom 13th 14:03.  For the Women, Bailey Hertenstein 4th 15:32, Abby Nichols 6th 15:41, Natosha Rogers (former Dakota Ridge HS) 9th 15:45, Claire Green (former Monarch HS) 19th 16:17.

In the New York Marathon on November 3rd, had Sara Vaughn 6th in 2:26:56, Maggie Montoya 14th 2:30:53, Jennifer Simpson 18th 2:31:54.  For the Men, Frank Lara 13th 2:11:21, Elkanah Kibet, 19th 2:13:27.
