Colorado Athletes 4th Day Olympic Trials
The fourth day of the 2021 Olympic Trials is over, and now we have two days rest and resume on Thursday. However, Elise Cranny, Niwot grad is going to the 2021 Olympic Games!! Running in 93 degree weather put down a 63.73 last lap to run 15:27.81 and take the 5000 meter Trials Title!!
In the Women’s 1500 meters Cory McGee, the second fastest Miler on Colorado Soil (4:33.39) is also headed to the 2021 Olympic Games! Her time of 4:00.67, a person record, was good for second place. That time also makes her the second fastest American in the event this year.
