Coby Hilton advances to the semifinals in the100 meters
Coby Hilton Colorado resident, advanced to the semifinals in the 100 meters (10.19 +0.1w) at the Olympic Trials in Eugene Oregon. Despite having a bad start Hilton made up for it by the finish. Hilton ranks tied 5th for the best 100 meters run on Colorado Soil (10.11 +1.4w).
Many athletes that participated in the PAC-12 meet this year and made the CTS Soil List advanced on to the next rounds in day 2 of the trials and are running, jumping and throwing today in day3.
Former Colorado High School Grads that are doing their thing today are: Anna Hall, (Valor Christian) in the heptathlon, Annie Kunz, (Wheat Ridge) in the heptathlon, Kaela Edwards, (Littleton) 800-meter semi, Yasin Sado, (Denver West/Gateway) steeple final.
Also, on the schedule for the day is the master’s men’s 800 meters, where Colorado is being represented by a couple of speed demons, Todd Straka and Chris Mcdonald running for the Boulder Road Runners. Best of luck Men!!
