2024 Best Colorado CTS Soil Marks
In 2024 there was an assault on the best T&F soil marks in Colorado! With the PAC-12 Championships held In Boulder, CO the top 25 soil marks got overhauled. Last year (2023) the outdoor Division II T&F Championships were held in Pueblo, CO and will be held again in 2025. With the high quality of these three meets the top 25 has and will be change substantially. The following best soil marks are only going to reflect the top 2 marks made in 2024 as there so many made to the top 25. First are going to be the #1’s in no particular order then the #2’s.
Women #1’s: 800 meters Rosin Willis, Stanford U. 2:01.00 (old record was from 1995), 1500 meters Chloe Forester, Wahington U. 4:16.33, mile Micaela Degenero, Puma TC 4:31.61, 100-meter hurdles Maribel Caicedo, Washington U. 12.61 +1.6w, 400-meter hurdles Jasmine Jones, Southern Cal U. 53.87 (was the fastest in the world at the time), Shot Put Jadia Ross, Oregon U. 62 4 1/2 (old record was from 2000), Javelin Throw Federica Botter, UCLA 192-8 (old record was from 1978!), Pole Vault Aikaterini Stefanidi, Adidas/ Greece 15-2 1/4, 4×400 relay Oregon U. 3:27.34 (old record was from 1995).
Men #1’s: 400 meters Johnnie Blockburger, Southern Cal U. 44.51 (old record was from 1983), 10000 meters Ky Robinson, Stanford U. 29:15.03 (old record was from 1979!), Pole Vault Chris Nelson, Nike 19-1 1/2.
Women #2’s: 400 meters Jan’ Taijah Jones, Southern Cal U. 51.07, 5000 meters Bailey Hertenstein, Colorado U. 16:05.83, 400-meter hurdles Abby Glynn, Colorado U./Mead HS 55.31, 1500 meters Silan Ayyyildiz, Oregon U. 4:17.15, 4×100 relay Southern Cal U. 42.87.
Men #2’s: Hammer Throw Rowan Hamiton, California U. 251-1.
